I decree and declare that the Lord shall show forth His wonders in your life in the name of Jesus! Amen.
The Word of God in Exodus 15:11 says, “Who is like unto thee, O Lord, among the gods? who is like thee, glorious in holiness, fearful in praises, doing wonders?”
Also, the Scriptures in Psalms 77:11 says, “Thou art the God that doest wonders: thou hast declared thy strength among the people.”
WHO IS THE GOD OF WONDERS?
God is a wonder-doing God, and His desire is to perform wonders in the lives of His sons and daughters.
He wants people to marvel and recognize that there is a God in heaven who does great and extraordinary things for His children. God’s children are meant to experience wonders.
When you consider God Himself, it truly is a wonder. This is why the human mind struggles to fully grasp the concept of God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. It is a marvel that the human mind can comprehend.
The wonders of God refer to the extraordinary and supernatural acts that showcase His divine power and glory, revealing His love, ability, strength, and sovereignty. God is truly a wonder, and that is why His Word describes Him as “wonderful,” which means full of wonders.
THINGS THAT ARE WONDERFUL ABOUT GOD
The truth is that all aspects of God are full of wonders. Let’s study some of these according to the Scriptures.
HIS WORKS ARE FULL OF WONDERS
The Word of God in Psalm 107:8 says, “Oh that men would praise the Lord for his goodness, and for his wonderful works to the children of men!”
God created heaven and earth in just six days. He divided the Red Sea so that the children of Israel could walk on dry ground, crossing to the other side.
The book of Exodus 14:21-22 says, “And Moses stretched out his hand over the sea; and the Lord caused the sea to go back by a strong east wind all that night, and made the sea dry land, and the waters were divided. And the children of Israel went into the midst of the sea upon the dry ground: and the waters were a wall unto them on their right hand, and on their left.”
God also caused the formidable walls of Jericho to crumble and fall to the ground, giving the children of Israel a great victory over the city.
There are many great, wondrous things that God has done, that He is still doing, and that He is going to do, all of which will make men marvel.
The Word of God in Psalm 40:5 says, “Many, O Lord my God, are thy wonderful works which thou hast done, and thy thoughts which are to us-ward: they cannot be reckoned up in order unto thee: if I would declare and speak of them, they are more than can be numbered.”
This Scripture tells us that God’s wonderful works are too many to be numbered.
HIS TESTIMONIES ARE FULL OF WONDERS
As seen in the book of Psalm 119:129, which says, “Thy testimonies are wonderful: therefore doth my soul keep them.”
Wonders bear witness and testify of God’s love, power, and glory, and His testimonies are full of them.
HIS KNOWLEDGE IS FULL OF WONDERS
Knowing God is knowing the wonders of God because the knowledge of God’s wonders reveals His personality and characteristics.
The Word of God in Psalm 139:6 says, “Such knowledge is too wonderful for me; it is high, I cannot attain unto it.”
This knowledge brings you into the realm of the wonder-working God, which in turn makes you a wonder to your world.
HIS COUNSEL IS FULL OF WONDERS
The book of Isaiah 28:29 says, “This also cometh forth from the Lord of hosts, which is wonderful in counsel, and excellent in working.”
The Almighty God is the best and greatest adviser anyone can ever find, and that is why He is called the Wonderful Counselor.
The Scripture in Isaiah 9:6 says, “For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.”
His counsel brings direction and guidance to your life far better than any other.
When God gives you counsel, you can never fail or miss your steps in life. Even when His counsel appears foolish to the human mind, it is infinitely and far wiser than the wisdom of men.
