Divine encounters are orchestrated or ordained meetings from God. These divine encounters are also seen as divine intervention.
CHARACTERISTICS OF DIVINE ENCOUNTERS:
TRANSFORMATION.
A Divine Encounter must lead to visible, definite fundamental transformation of your life and destiny. In just one day, Abram became Abraham, a new man through a divine encounter.
This highlights the importance of divine encounters, they must lead to visible and definitive changes for the mental transformation of your life and destiny.
Divine encounters should result in clear, tangible transformations that impact your mental state and life’s direction.
PERSONAL.
A Divine Encounter must be an intimate experience with divinity which involves direct communication with God that enhances your relationship, fellowship, and walk with God.
Enoch walked with God, he had a daily encounter with Him, and then God took him. Enoch’s walk with God was personal, indicating that a divine encounter must be an intimate experience with the divine, characterized by direct communication.
This communication should be with God and not through a medium. If the encounter does not enhance your relationship with God, your fellowship with Him, or your walk with Him, then that encounter likely did not come from God.
If the encounter does not improve your relationship, fellowship, or walk with God, then something is wrong, either with you or with the encounter itself.
REVELATORY.
A Divine Encounter must reveal the plan, will, purpose, and nature of God, which should result in impartation, guidance, direction, and instruction. T
The word of God in Hebrews 1:13-14 says, “But to which of the angels has He ever said: ‘Sit at My right hand, Till I make Your enemies Your footstool’? Are they not all ministering spirits sent forth to minister for those who will inherit salvation?”
God uses angels to give divine encounters. This is evident in various scriptures, including Genesis, Exodus, and throughout the New Testament.
For instance, in Luke 1:26, it states, “In the sixth month, the angel Gabriel was sent from God.” This highlights that angels are indeed sent by God.
Their purpose is to fulfill God’s will, and importantly, they do this for our benefit. They cannot act against us, rather, they are here to minister on our behalf.
DIVINE ENCOUNTERS THROUGH MEN
God encounters people through others, and this is often the primary way He does so. For example, we see how David transformed the life of Jonathan’s son. Similarly, Elijah had a profound impact on many individuals, including Elisha and Naaman.
This shows that God can use people as vessels to bring about significant change in our lives. The individual you might be tempted to mistreat could be an instrument in God’s hands, used to reach you.
Ultimately, God can use men and women to transform your life.
PROPHETIC DECLARATIONS
I prophesy over someone reading this word, “You are highly favored in the name of Jesus”.
I declare that the Lord shall stand with you, because you are not alone in this circumstance and situation.
I decree that The Lord is fighting your battles, clearing the path, and making everything straight in the name of Jesus.
